Observation details
The following observations were made from an anchored Zodiac. At least 5 Roseate Terns were observed on nests. A few of the birds on the nest were seen sitting at the same location for tens of minutes. Some birds were seen sitting at the same location multiple times. Two nests were in among the vegetation about here 43.401068,-65.630436. Two more nests were s.w. of the above location and not near vegetation. One more was s.w. of the above first location near some small vegetation and wrack. Courtship feeding was seen twice away from nest sites. Several Roseates were seen carrying food, however, it was not clear which direction they were coming from.
