A male Bullock’s Oriole gives his dawn rattle from the dense mesquite-scrub-thornbush near the Arizona Sycamore where a pair is later feeding nestlings. Background includes: Summer Tanager, Hooded Oriole, Curve-billed Thrasher, Eurasian Collared- Dove, and some wind. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
