Dawn song of a male Hooded Oriole, which incorporates imitations of other birds, including Curve-billed Thrasher, which also sings in the background. Background also includes: Summer Tanager and Bullock’s Oriole. After the song, he gives a series of calls from the dense juniper-mesquite thicket. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
