Exact count. First individual: 48.012941, -106.430762. Foraging mid to upper canopy in cottonwoods and Russian olives around pin. Small vireo, lemon yellow underparts with brightest yellow concentrated around throat and upper breast. Distinct facial pattern — gray auriculars and cap, dark lores, white supercilium and accentuated white eye arcs (split by lores). Relatively small bill compared to WAVI. Photographed. — A pair of PHVI here: 48.013215, -106.429239. One singing fast-paced, Red-eyed like song. Photos of both, one individual very brightly colored. Carefully ID’d and separated from WAVI.
