Harris's Sparrow Butler Motel feeders
Observation details
This is a continuing bird coming to the feeders behind the Butler Motel. A big thanks to Nancy for keeping these feeders stocked. I always contribute seed when I stay there and other times as well. The black crown and throat on this bird that was observed in good light at a distance of 12 to 30 feet lead me to believe that it is an adult. I saw the bird several times in the afternoon. It was very tame and allowed for some good pictures. The bright pink bill and buffy face as well as the slightly larger than the Golden-crowned Sparrows present make this an easy ID. I am not sure who first found this bird there.
