Observation details
Found earlier this Am by Jim Rowoth. Arrived on-site along Cottonwood alley and heard I just missed it. Over the next hour we, Jim and I both heard and saw the male singing Hooded Warbler. It would come into view In the N side of the canal I the willows. Over RTBE first it would announce its arrive by singing and often perched out in the open. It took awhile after John arrived for it to show itself. Bright yellow face with black hood, showed off its white outer tail feathers. Olive back, bright yellow underparts. Audio recorded.
