Media notes
First recording through Merlin on my Google Pixel 4a. I was sitting on the east side of Azalea Pond, hearing a vireo singing to the north, so around the Gill source. Merlin immediately ID'd Philadephia Vireo, then seconds later added Red-Eyed Vireo. I decided to try agaih.
Observation details
I saw a report from Liam that there was a Philadephia Vireo singing over the Gill, and a few minutes later a followup that Bob had come through the area blasting playback and the bird had of course gone silent. About a half-hour later I was at Azalea Pond and heard a vireo singing somewhere around the source of the Gill. It sounded a little off for REVI, so I turned on Merlin, and it identified both Philadelphia and Red-eyed vireo. This puzzled me, since I thought I only heard one bird, but a second attempt yielded the same result. I walked around the area with the app on, trying to get closer and hoping for a look, but failed in that, although the app again reported two vireos. I attach the Merlin recordings, with notes. Any opinions about this would be appreciated. It seems to me there is seems a second, softer and high, singer.
