note DEFORMED BILL, i.e. top mandible is thin, curved down and does not meet tip of lower mandible. It's likely the camera time was never reset to EST in the fall. Should read approx. 11:44 am. (D085031, RAW cropped & processed in DPP, then resolution reduced because it wasn't sharp, possibly due to heat waves from the truck)
Observation details
photos D085031-D085051, roughly 20 or 30 robins visible at one time feeding on honeysuckle berries and moving around until suddenly they flew away to the south when I estimated 50 in the whole flock. Note the robin with the DEFORMED BILL in 2 photos. It's likely the camera time was never reset to EST in the fall; should read approximately 11:44 am.
