NOTES: (Species Sound: infrequent; Breeding Status: not territorial?, territorial?, breeding?; Visual Display with Sound: verbally on tape; General Climate: arid; Cover Density: sparse; Parabola: 36"/12") BNA: could be Incipient Locomotory Hesitance Complex Vocalization "pwuh-T" or "pwee-T", but includes chattering (NOT the Chatter vocalization.). mf [These appear to represent the "dawn songs" or "Regularly Repeated Vocalizations" of BNA and W. J. Smith (1966. Communications and relationships in the genus Tyrannus.Publ. Nuttall Ornithol. Cl. 6), but the pattern of the vocalizations differs from that described by these authors. Also included are several "Repeated Vocalizations" (1:31-1:50) and two "Incipient Locomotory Hesitance Vocalizations" (0:46, 0:50). Quality changed from 2-1 to 3-2, 1-2 - CAM - 7 January 2005].
