Observation details

The bird was flying from the direction of Lake Erie. It was less than fifty feet over Lake Kirsty and flying east towards heritage boardwalk. Adult bird. Dark eye with dark facial skin. (Edit: Hedy Bisen took a photo at a similar time at Tifft. I’ll include her photo) According to eBird, this is the first Glossy ibis sighting in Erie County in thirty two years.
