Observation details

Both adults., with storng black primary triangles and vivid white secondary wedge, yellow-tipped black bill and black hood. Video taken. Joined the Bonaparte's briefly but flew off while I was verifying my photos. I did not see where they headed; perhaps to the gull roost on the shoreline to the east.
