Observation details
Audio. Male in different location from previously reported. I checked the East Observation Tower and did not have one. In my experience this is typical PROW behavior here to roam up and down the river. I had it in the old location by the Fisherman’s Lot in a section of what appear to be willows along the river’s edge. Note this is not an official EEC trail so there is no maintenance. It is very wet and overgrown at the moment. Sang for the 10 minutes or so I was there. My guess is this is the location it will settle into as it did a few years back. 2020 I believe. At this location it is easy to hear it but harder to see it. After a bit of waiting though the bird worked both the willows in the river and in the oaks on the side of the river providing good views.
