Observation details
While looking out at the marsh area, I was surprised to see a Sandhill Crane foraging in the field behind the marsh. Distinct red crown on head, unmistakable. I walked through the field to get a bit closer and it flew east out of sight. Luckily, Cathy Souther drove by and we were able to relocate the bird and she got photos.
