Observation details
Probable singing male present since around the 28th April singing in the north-east corner of the copse at 51.000002575032674, -1.346681682258846. When I arrived the bird was not singing and so I played an Iberian Chiffchaff song and the bird started to sing almost immediately. Typical song can be heard in the sound recording and video accompanying this record. Compared to Common Chiffchaff appeared slightly browner above with a more sharply defined yellow washed supercilia, the underparts were washed yellowish from the throat to the vent, and the primary projection appeared a little longer.
