Observation details
Some very cerulean-y songs out here! Couldn’t get a look to make sure they weren’t, but chances are there weren’t a bunch of Cerulean Warblers here. Uploading the audio. Based on Sibley's discussion of this Cerulean-like BTBW song variant (https://www.sibleyguides.com/2020/05/a-cerulean-like-song-variant-of-black-throated-blue-warbler/) I'm inclined to think these birds fit squarely in that discussion. The intro phrases on the spectrograph appear clear and less complex than the raspy examples from CERWs. Could be worth further investigation in the area though, particularly with the lore of past-breeding CERWs in Wendell State Forest (not on eBird).
