Observation details
*Mega; found about an hour earlier by Jennifer Lang and Danny Niven and broadcast on the WNY alert. Second in county for AG and RPG following Hamlin Beach bird in 2014. Life bird for CRG! Large, long-tailed warbler, bluish above from tail to bill with some brown shading and black streaks on back. Black on face from bill through lores and below eye to lower edge of face. Prominent white eye arcs. Lemon yellow below from throat through lower belly with dark streaks on flanks. Frequently pumped tail a la Palm Warbler, often spreading tail as well showing white spots at corners. Not heard singing but frequently gave buzzy flight calls when moving around, similar to YEWA but seeing a bit drier and maybe a little longer. Photos.
