Observation details

calling (rough, burry “bzzzh”) flyby; photos EDIT 5/15/2022 - I added a series of photos - the iridescent dark blue upperparts, grayish head, white belly, streaked flanks, and grayish throat/ chest support the ID. One confusion species that is possible during migration, Purple Martin, would be generally darker gray below with a pale gray neck collar.
