Observation details
Continuing bird. Took me quite a time to find it. After searching for almost an hour, I found it on the very west side of the small Cattail Island on the southern end of Lake Sherry. It was best visible from the most westward bird blind on the trail. The Limpkin would remain in the cattails on the small island and could not be seen. However, every few minutes it would come out of the cattails on the west side of the island and hunt in the shallow water for snails. This would last 2 - 5 minutes and when it caught a snail it would disappear back into the cattails.
