Observation details
First noticed a small raptor Kettling with 3 or 4 TUVUs. We first thought it was a COHA but quickly ruled that out due to wings being so long and narrow. We observed a mostly dark tail with multiple thin white bands, but overall structure was not right still for a buteo species (considered RSHA and BWHA). Our next thought jumped to a possible Kite (they were on the mind due to recent sightings). Along with the long tail with thin white banding, we noted long narrow wings, dark wingtips with light bases, and a darker body. See photos
