Observation details
First watched on ground at back of Woods where the wild rose starts/ridge . Appeared to be drinking from a water pipe run off but was flushed by two American Restart. Relocated soon after by Gina Turone closer to Park area where we had excellent views feeding on the ground and climbing small saplings feeding and moving constantly . Pink legs , olive back no wing bars , creamy yellow/brown belly with no marking , head also a creamy yellowish/brown with 2 black strips on head with black strips also running from side of head through eye , sharp bicolored beak pink and black. Spotted first at approximately 11.40 am .Thank you Marcie Jacklin and your Crew who have done so much work time and money to try and preserve these Woods for future years . Photos to come.
