Observation details
Hanging out in low Russian Olive ,Honeysuckle and Wild Rose shrubs, with an overstory of tall cottonwoods, over hanging the muddy river bank, very low near or on the ground calling at dusk. Brief look, small and short tailed. Returned in am to try and relocate, but unsuccessful. Best match of call is a MOWA, behavior and habitat off for COYE, which is the only other option. COYE calls are usually flatter and buzzier. Not sharp enough for MGWA,NOWA
