Observation details
Early migrant. ID by sight and sound from 10m from roadside. Typical distinctive 1 or 2-note intro followed by rapid buzzy trill. Clear views, of it as it sang and called multiple times, then departed for a few minutes before returning to perch surprisingly conspicuously and sing several more times. No surprise to find it at this site, as it has been reliable here the last 2 years, but not at this exact location. Today it was south of Brook Rd., ~75m north of red barn, near drainage pipe under road, on meadowy east side of road.
