Observation details
Thanks to Luis Trinchan for the help with confirming this record as Olive Sparrow. Two birds singing in the understory of dense thicket forest as the road nears the old hacienda. I originally thought these were Olive Sparrow based on habitat and location (there are no eBird records that I can see of Green-backed Sparrow from this location but many of Olive Sparrow), but the song lacks any acceleration and drop in pitch and instead sounds more like the consistent notes of Green-backed. See attached photos and recording. This song differed from the birds we later heard at Labna (where we were expecting Green-backed!) which had a clear acceleration in the second half of the song: https://ebird.org/checklist/S106226266
