Observation details
We first found one Palm Warbler hopping on logs and walking along beach wrack, very close to our survey spot. We followed it and got photos, then it flew towards the parking lot. We later spotted another Palm Warbler, and Michael commented that it appeared brighter than the first one we had seen. George, while retrieving his camera, then found two Palm Warblers around logs closer to the parking lot, confirming that two were present. Lovely basic plumage Palm Warblers, with yellow under-tail coverts, long bobbing tail, distinct dark eyeline and light supercilium, faint brownish-beige streaks on off-white flanks, breast and belly, with some yellow hint on belly. Crown warmish brown, back and wings brownish-gray.
