Observation details
Well, another! It is worth noting that I was here last weekend and had a brief obvservation of a good GRFL candidate but lost it so ended up listing as empid sp. Quite possible that this is the same bird as the bird observed today was moving around pretty much the same area as the one last weekend. This time mostly observed through scope, but did follow it to the backside fence line for some video and photos. Whit call heard, but did seem a little more wet than the others, although not sure if distance plays a role in tone. When observing from afar I immediately noticed the downward tail pump and it's longer bill. It also seemed noticeably paler than my other observations. It eventually flew to the fence on the sidewalk where I was afforded great views and photos of the consistently thin eye ring and black tip of lower mandible. I was able to digiscope a video and stabilize it through an app to show the downward tail pumping. When followed to the backside fence it was close enough to get one with my camera as well. Audio, video, and photos will be posted.
