Observation details
Small empid with grey head, small pale eyering and throat, olive back, short and dark bill. Its long primaries made its tail appear short. Underside: grey and yellow-green. The bird was in trees along fenceline just east of easternmost bottlebrush trees, flitting from branch to branch about twenty feet up, sometimes chased by a singing Pac-slope, sometimes disappearing into foliage out of sight. I waited five or so minutes at one point waiting for it to reappear, which it did. It didn’t vocalize.
