NOTES: (No. of Animals/Sex: Unknown number of nestlings, sex also unknown. Breeding Status: Territorial paired.) [Some calls distorted.] Faint, distant drumming, then bird flelw to nearby pine--flew off. Two woodeckers in distance. Flew in close above foraging bird. Woodpecker flew into tree behind nest. Young in tree started to make noise. End: 6:51 male feeding. 44362 Pt. A - 11:30 44362 Pt. B - 9:00 BNA: Probably the Call Note is heard. Nestling "Chirps" are also heard. CZ 15/03/2004 [This recording contains approximately 160 "peek" Call Notes, apparently given by both parents (though I suppose that some of these could instead represent the "spik" or "strit"annoyance calls), in addition to series of Chirp or Squeak Calls by the nestlings. The first two parts (0:13-5:17) appear to contain exclusively Call Notes by the adults, but the Squeak Calls of the nestlings are prominent from 7:10-10:50, 12:00-13:32, 16:48-17:25, and 18:54-20:26. Series of what I believe are "Wad" Calls combined with "Kweek" Calls are given at 4:18-4:205, 7:57-8:00, 8:03-8:10, 8:145-8155, 8:195-8:315, and 8:345-8:39). Quality unchanged (2) - CAM - 22 April 2005].
