Observation details
Some 50 mts to the East of the trail entrance I heard, recorded and photographed this recently fledged young individual who was moving in the bushes at 5-6 feet height on the side of the trail. Description: white throat, green-yellow flanks, whitish/pale yellow supra-loral line meeting a white eye ring. Dark eye, two wing bars with the upper one being much shorter than the second one. Thick yellowish beak commissure typical of recently fledged young. Short tail. Could fly very well. Vocalizations: a series of regular complaint calls reminiscent of a catbird, but I saw it and recorded the individual in the pictures below emitting such calls. In the provided recording, there is a YTVI singing in the background. The calls I am referring to are at seconds 4.87, 8,75, 11.72, 16.65, 20.02 and 23.22.
