Observation details
We heard two swifts making this same vocalization at the previous point count. We manage to spot them, but they were flying away from us so we could not have good looks at them. On the following count, which is along the same road, we heard the swifts again. We managed to get good looks and audio recordings this time. Upon looking at these swifts against the blue sky the character that stood out was the presence of white on the face. This narrowed down our possibilities to either White-chinned or Black Swift. Based on the recording we believe that these were White-chinned Swifts. We entered it as such so that it can get reviewed but if the evidence is not conclusive we can change it back to Cypseloides sp.
