Observation details
Heard from the Cedarbrae Alley in back of Ross Irwin's house. Flew north. Made bad recording and will study later. After reviewing bad recording and recollecting the harsh buzzy notes in the field and the pronounced pauses between phrases , and reviewing Pandolfino and Ray (2020) who say even the seeming lower midpoint frequency does not guarantee the bird will be a Plumbeous. So I think this bird could be either a Plumbeous Vireo or Cassins Vireo, and the quality of the recording does not allow any ID beyond that. I think Blue-headed is eliminated by the frequent buzzy notes heard in the song. and not many high clear sweet phrases.
