Observation details
On shoreline at south end of site. Foraging alongside Least Sandpipers. Slightly larger than Least and notably more pale plulmage, with black legs and straight, tubular shaped bill not so narrow toward the tip. Plumage medium-pale slightly brownish-gray upperparts without rusty tones or patches, back and wings somewhat mottled, crown and neck finely streaked, with whitish supercilium. Underparts white with fine grayish streaking on breast and sides but not flanks.
