Observation details

I specifically came to Rattlesnake Springs in search of the Pacific Wren and I was not disappointed. The tiny sub-tailed wren was difficult to track down, but it finally made some brief appearances for ID photos. The sharp chip note helped me confirm the ID. As previously reported, it was hanging out on the edge of the wooded area near a brush pile. I stood on the small stretch of land about 10 ft. away with the small canal behind me. It made brief appearances over a 30 minute period and was difficult to see in the brush.
