Observation details
Very pale latteicolored bird with non contrasting wing tips. Small black beady eye. Bill solid black with an obvious gonydeal angle. The Head seemed flat, shaped similarly to a herring gull to me, but the bill seemed thicker and completely lacked any pale coloration on the bill. Legs pale pink, and I had to look pretty hard to determine they had pink color in them. The legs seem longer, proportionally than cagu and the Bird was noticeably bigger. Pretty much no pattern on this bird except light streaking on the head. I watched it preen for a long time, then start feeding near the shore of the pond.
