Observation details
See pics. First heard harsh "churt" call coming from across the river, brief views and behavior confirmed it was the long staying SEWR, however it stayed on the far side and was very skulky. Came back about an hour later and were lucky that it had it moved to the west side of the bank where we were able to get great look and photos as well as a few recordings. small very skulky wren, light buffy on the flanks with a white belly (lighter overall then a MAWR), weak supercilium and streaking down the back (as compared with MAWR), barred tail. Great find by Cole and glad it stuck around long enough for me (Joey) to be able to see it.
