Observation details
I'll be damned - large shorebird with long upturned bill. In breeding plumage, with dramatic brick red upper parts and head. Distinguished from blacktailed godwit by lack of dark barring on the lower breast and lack of black bar on the tail. Photos. Wild. First Rota record.
