Observation details
Heard before seen, first detected about 20 minutes into our walk. Singing, distinctive 3-4 descending notes followed by a series of faster chups. Seen well, a chunky warbler bobbing its tail while moving along the creek, walking and briefly flying between branches. Brown above, white below with brown streaking on the chest and sides. Thick white supercilium, limited streaking on the throat. Pinkish legs, strong metallic chip notes. Not as large as a thrush, and the chest was streaked, not spotted. I got a recording but there is a lot of background noise (creek, breeze), and the song is faint. Mostly associating with a stretch of creek about 150-200 yards long in the middle of the lot. All 3 of us were able to see it well.
