Observation details
A first adult plumaged gull and 3rd Winter bird were photographed at Fleet Street Snow Dump. First adult had red spot on gonys with faint trace of dark ring from an earlier plumage. Yellow iris with red eye ring, Yellow legs with pinking feet. White spots on folded dark primaries. Dark mantle. Third winter bird had dark mantle with brownish wash on wings WITHOUT WHITE spots. on folded primaries Pinkish/yellow legs. Yellowish iris. Bill had dark ring near gonys. White rumps and dark band on tail. Note: Time stamp has wrong date.) These birds or identical ones were seen yesterday evening. Weather conditions prevented obtaining photos.
