Observation details
At first thought Chipping Sparrow but then saw dark breast spot on grey unstreaked breast. Closer look revealed bi-colour bill (yellow bottom, black top)…rufous centre cap and eyeline. Grey supercillium and ariculars. White wing bars, streaked back. Rufous “shoulder” feathers. Feeding in the grass with the WCSP right after it was mowed. Photos to come. Very excited to see this bird :-)
