Observation details
Originally seen far from the boat with a feeding flock, but it then snuck up on us and made a close pass before going back to the feeding flock. At close range, the orangish bill was obvious. Large white booby with an orangish bill, black mask, golden eyes, blackish primaries and trailing edge to wings, blackish tail with whitish central rectrices, and some dusky feathering on the rump and uppertail. Appeared to be a near-adult.
