Observation details
See a few pictures attached. This bird literally blew in over the far end of the property heading toward the ponds in a big windstorm and was gone out of sight in 4 or 5 seconds. It appeared the be the size of a mid-sized tern, and with its facial markings, my best estimate is that is in a Bonaparte's Gull. Compared to the normal small gull species potentially in the area at this time of year, Bonaparte's Gull makes the most sense also.
