Observation details
Continuing bird found on December 18, 2021 by Ryan and Rachel Bauer, and seen since by dozens of birders. Viewed off and on throughout the morning at the stakeout feeders at 166 Bell Ln. Very skittish, it was always the last bird to leave the bush and come to the seed and the first to flush. It called a few times, a soft “tew” note reminiscent of a HOSP but softer and sweeter. A truly stunning bird, photos to be added.
