Observation details
Fregetta storm petrel with clean white belly, and clean white underwing, white uppertail and a few of the brown upperpart feathers with pale fringes. Black breast, with the lower edge concave (mid-point in line with leading edge of wing) and with no central black notch, unlike Black-bellied Storm-Petrel. A few very short steaks emanated from breast side. Underwing clean white with thick black leading edge, no dark crescents on underwing-coverts - they were clean white, becoming a little dusky in the inner primary coverts and then with the outer primary coverts fully dark. Legs reached to end of tail, but not beyond. Pattered with one leg on the sea surface.
