Observation details
My code: MALE (intergrade) ThinPaleNape (first identified 2021-10-05) (intergrade) Patches (first identified 2020-01-08) Patches was feeding on the fat when ThinPaleNape arrived on the upper part of the pole. Patches flew further up the pole and the two of them argued for a short while then both flew into the forest. ThinPaleNape returned shortly to feed on the fat and very soon a female red-shafted, LG, landed further up the pole. She went up and down the pole, but ThinPaleNape never allowed her onto the fat. LG left a short while later and ThinPaleNape soon flew into the forest where she had gone. Audio was not captured until the males had flown into the forest. Habitat: 5.5 acres with about a half acre yard surrounded by mixed forest, riparian
