Observation details
I heard and then spotted the kingfisher where the road and path intersect near the parking lot at the marina end. I thought it was one bird but it looks in the photos as if one bird has its crest and the other does not (molting?) There was lots of activity in what I thought was an unusual location, close to people and shore. I was struck by the length/size of the bill at these angles!
