Behavior and other notes: An adult male Pine Warbler singing from the tops of trees. He perched in an oak and sang for a while then he moved to a Virginia Pine and sang while foraging. This male has been on territory for about 3 weeks and is still not doing a dawn display. Recorder HPF on at 80 Hz, -12 dB/octave. Distance to source: 13-14 meters. Recording Time: 0652 (UTC -4). Temperature 5.6°C. Habitat: eastern deciduous forest. Specific location: Wood Song, 1.5 km WSW of Johnsontown, Berkeley Co., West Virginia. Latitude 39.575464, Longitude -78.056623.
