Observation details
Flew from near ferry along shore to the shore near lighthouse. Very close looks, will post photos. Larger bill than American G Plover, hint of yellowish on eyebrow and face, shorter primary extension of just three primaries, end of tertials reached two thirds down tail. Longish legs. Much yellow edging to feathers on upperparts. Possible adult molting into alternate plumage?
