NOTES: Aerial and ground displays Also: lapland longspur, pectoral sandpiper, stream flow Credit CAGSL where feasible. Q 2, 1-2, 2 [The two parts of this recording contain primarily "Songs" and the "Rhythmically Repeated Calls" of Miller (1983. Auk 100: 440-451), or conversely, "Eree" calls of BNA. The first part begins with a "Song" (0:12-0:17), followed by what may be several "Errit" Calls (0:18-0:26), partial Song (0:26-0:29), RRCs (0:29-0:41), more partial Song (0:41-0:45), and finally, more RRCs (0:45-0:57, 1:11-1:16). The second part appears to highlight two birds, the distant bird giving RRCs (1:33-1:42, 1:53-2:09 - barely overlapping the close bird), and the close individual giving two bouts of "Song" followed by RRCs (song at 1:41-1:47, followed by RRCs at1:47-1:54, and song again at 2:11-2:15 followed by RRCs at 2:15-2:21). Quality added 2-3 (with the songs of Calcarius lapponicus often louder than those of the Calidris) - CAM - 7 December 2004].
