Observation details
Likely continuing bird from 3 crabs first found by John Gatchet, now at Dungeness Spit about a quarter of the way out toward the lighthouse on the bay side at high tide. Loosely associated with and following a group of ten brant feeding along the shore on the bay side of the spit, eventually left brants and foraged alone. Unmistakeable, white head, pink bill, black throat, black and gray patterned body. Photos taken. Still present at 3 pm when I left the spit.
