Media notes

Lots of them on a wire

Observation details

Probably more than a 150. See the two photos of the groups, one group was on the electrical wires and another on the fences and I counted approximately 150 birds total, there were more of them in the field between the two groups. On one of the recordings, there must have been 30 birds on a wire making this cat like hissing vocalizations. After a while they calmed down, nearly no sound can be heard on the recording, Then another flock of 60 birds at least descended on the wire and their vocalizations restarted, as if they were rearranging themselves on the wire and producing these sounds to make themselves heard by others.
