Observation details
Seen briefly as the bird flew in from the seaside as I was about 3/4 of the way towards the end of the jetty. The bird had the same shape as a Booby but was smaller than a booby. My first thoughts were Shearwater as the bird appeared to be too small to be a Booby but after looking at the photos I took I could not reconcile it completely with either Brown or Mask Booby in any stage. I'm attaching photos that were taken of the bird. This sighting was changed from Pterodroma sp to Trindade Petrel since was sighting was accepted by the Texas Bird Records Committee.
